Teeth!

Today is National Dentist Day. In honor of it, I have lots of toothy patterns!
Enjoy the teeth, and give some love to your dentist if you see them today!

Moving right along, I have some news for my tree skirt. Despite my demoralizing math yesterday, I am down to 9,053 stitches. That's right, here's where I now stand:

1-274
2-285
3-296
4-307
5-318
6-329
7-340
8-351
9-362
10-373
11-384
12-395
13-406
14-417
15-428
16-439
17-450
18-461
19-472
20-483
21-494
22-505
23-516
24-527

It makes me happy to see those two little lines that represent almost 600 stitches. (I was also pleased to discover the line tool. I had seen it on other blogs, and now I get to use it myself? Goody!)

My plan is to have this done by the last week of March, Easter Monday at the very latest. Now, 26 days may not seem like much time to do 9,053 stitches, but I have a plan! I am trying to do a row a day. (I wrote yesterday's post on Sunday, and this post on Monday, so by the time you read this, I might have two more rows done!)
I realize that that will be almost impossible after about Row 13, but I may keep working on it after the day's minimum has been reached. See, it will be a minimum crocheted, not a maximum. That way, I could end up with three weeks to do the long rows instead of two! (And no, that probably won't happen, but I can dream, right?) I'm also loving how quickly this is eats the yarn... quite the opposite

About the blanket..... I've done three of the rows on the fifth stripe. I'm definitely not going to make it. There! I said it! Now I just have to accept it and go buy more yarn.....

And, because there aren't any pictures, I give you:

Yummy whole cranberry sauce from a few years ago!
